About this fabric
Silk Charmeuse
A smooth silk woven with a soft sheen on the face and a matte reverse. It falls close to the body, follows every fold and carries light along the length of the drape. It holds a pleat where it is gathered and lets go everywhere else. No stretch.
Layered over it
Silk Organza
A sheer, crisp silk, light enough to float and firm enough to hold a stand collar or a train. Worn as a layer over the piece beneath it. No stretch.
